Welcome Back to our 2022 -23 Season! Tonite we spotlight a beloved songwriting team, Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe and their early shows Brigadoon and Paint Your Wagon among others. Sharing the bill will be composer Burton Lane and lyricist E.Y."Yip" Harburg with their wonderful songs from Finian's Rainbow as well as classics that they wrote with other partners. Songs like April in Paris, Ole Devil Moon, and How About You will pair with Lerner and Loewe's beautiful Almost Like Being in Love, I Was Born Under a Wandrin Star, They Call the Wind Maria, and Heather on the Hill. Jim Benton will return as our musical director, joining our Cabaret veterans Tamara Siler, Grace Givens, Brian Chambers, Seth Cunningham, and Richard Paul Fink. We are delighted to showcase 2 gifted new singers Lauren Salazar and Susan Shofner. As usual Paul Hope will be your tour guide through this beautiful chapter of the Great American Songbook.
